Samsung Galaxy J3 V / J3 (2016) - Power Up in Safe Mode

Safe mode is a diagnostic state on your Galaxy J3 V / J3 (2016) that only runs system apps so you can isolate if a third-party app is causing freezing or slowness.
  1. With the device powered off, press and hold the
    Power button
     on the right edge until the Samsung Galaxy J3 logo appears then release.
    An alternate method is available if the device can be powered on and is responsive.
  2. With the Samsung Galaxy J3 logo on the screen, press and hold the
    Volume Down button
     on the left edge.
  3. Continue to hold the
    Volume Down button
     until Safe mode appears in the lower-left of the screen then release.
    This may take up to 60 seconds.
  4. With Safe Mode enabled, test device and app functionality.
