Manage Data Usage - LG G Pad 8.3 LTE

Here's how to change the data usage cycle and set data warnings and / or limits on your LG G Pad 8.3 LTE.
  • Device data usage may differ from actual usage. For accurate info and bill cycle dates, visit the My Verizon website.
    For Business Customer data, visit My Business.
  • To control data usage on your account, refer to Verizon Family™.
  1. Open the

  2. Tap
    Data usage
     then do any of the following:
    • Set Mobile Data Limit:
      Mobile data is turned off when the data usage reaches the limit indicated by the red line. To use apps needing data, use Wi-Fi or adjust the limit.
      1. Tap
        Limit mobile data usage
         to turn on.
      2. If presented with the Limiting data usage screen, review the message then tap
        OK
        .
      3. Select the preferred data usage limit:
        1. Touch then drag the
          red line
           up or down to set the data limit in gigabytes (GB).
        2. Tap the
          red number
           to set the data limit in megabytes (MB) then tap
          Set
          .
    • Set Mobile Data Warning:
      A notification message appears upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the orange warning line.
      1. Tap
        Alert me about data usage
         to turn on.
      2. If presented with a Data usage alert screen, review the message then tap
        OK
        .
      3. Select the preferred data usage limit:
        1. Touch then drag the
          orange line
           up or down to set when to receive the warning alert in gigabytes (GB).
        2. Tap the
          orange number
           to set when to receive the warning alert in megabytes (MB) then tap
          Set
          .
    • Change Data Usage Cycle:
      1. From the Data usage cycle field, tap the
        Dropdown menu
         .
      2. Tap
        Change cycle
        .
      3. Tap the appropriate date then tap
        Set
        .
