View / Restrict Data Usage by App - LG G Pad 8.3 LTE

Here's how to view / restrict the amount of data an app on your LG G Pad 8.3 LTE uses.
Some apps need background data. Restricting data may cause them not to work without a Wi-Fi connection.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
     Settings icon .
  2. Tap
    Data usage
     Data usage icon .
  3. Tap an app (below the usage graph) then view the usage.
    To restrict the app from using data in the background, tap (check Check Box icon )
    Restrict background data
     to enable.
  4. If presented with 'Restrict background data' screen, review the message then tap
    OK
     .
