Activate your TCL K33 5G to get started. This ensures you can make calls, send messages, and connect to the internet.

Before you begin

If using a physical SIM card, make sure there's a 5G SIM card is inserted into the device before powering on. You can add an eSIM (embedded SIM) after setup is complete.

Steps

  1. Press and hold the
    Power / Side button
     until the TCL logo appears. Select your language, then tap
    Get Started
    .
  2. Review the Terms and Privacy screen, select the agreement check boxes, then tap
    I Agree
    .
  3. From the Phone activation screen, tap
    Next
    .
  4. Connect to a Wi-Fi network.
  5. Select your region, confirm your age verification range if required, then tap
    Next
    .
  6. To copy apps and data, tap
    Next
     to transfer your content now.
  7. Sign in to your Google™ account or create a new one.
  8. Select a user type then tap
    Next
    .
  9. Follow the onscreen prompts to review and accept the Google Services, device backup, contact sharing, and Google Assistant options.
  10. Set up a screen lock and face or fingerprint recognition to secure your device.
  11. To allow locating and sharing with nearby contacts, tap
    I agree
    .
  12. Set up any additional services (e.g., email, font, etc.) or tap
    No thanks
    .
  13. Review the Verizon Services screen, select your location and data collection preferences, then tap
    Accept
    .
  14. Tap
    Accept
     to back up your info using Verizon Cloud.
  15. Tap
    Got it!
     to complete setup.
Set up Verizon Prepaid Service
