Add / Remove Fingerprint Recognition

Set up fingerprint recognition on your TCL K33 5G for fast, secure access. Remove saved fingerprints when troubleshooting or changing devices.

Before you begin

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Security & privacy
    Device unlock
    Face & fingerprint unlock
    .
  3. Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
  4. Tap
    Fingerprint
    .
  5. Do one of the following:
    • For first-time setup:
      1. Tap
        Add fingerprint
        .
      2. From the Find the sensor screen, locate the sensor (Power button) then tap
        Got it
        .
      3. Follow the onscreen tutorial to scan your fingerprint then repeat as necessary until the process completes.
      4. Tap
        Done
        .
      5. Tap the
        Unlock device switch
         to turn on or off.
    • Add more fingerprints:
      1. Tap
        Add fingerprint
        .
      2. Follow the onscreen tutorial to scan your fingerprint then repeat as necessary until the process completes.
      3. Tap 'Done' if finished or 'Add fingerprints' to continue adding fingerprints.
    • Remove fingerprint(s):
      1. Tap the fingerprint to remove.
      2. Tap
        Remove Fingerprint

        Remove
