Turning on data lets your TCL 50 XL NXTPAPER 5Gaccess online services over the Verizon network, while turning it off will impact that experience unless connected to Wi-Fi.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Do any of the following:
    • Turn Data On / Off
      1. Tap
        Connections
         then tap
        Data usage
        .
      2. Tap the
        Mobile data switch
         to turn on or off.
      3. If prompted, tap
        OK
         to confirm.
    • Allow / Deny Roaming
      Caution: Depending on your plan, enabling data roaming may cause roaming charges (e.g., when traveling internationally).
      1. Tap
        Network & internet
        .
      2. Tap the applicable cellular network (e.g., SIM 1, Verizon 2, etc.).
      3. Tap the
        Data Roaming Access switch
         to turn on or off.
      4. If prompted with 'Allow data roaming?', tap
        OK
         if you agree.
