Setting data limits or warnings on your TCL 50 XL NXTPAPER 5G helps you stay aware of your usage habits, which can be useful if your plan provides a fixed amount of data.

To control data usage on your account, refer to Verizon Family™.
Device data usage may differ from actual usage. For accurate info and bill cycle dates, visit the My Verizon website.For business customer data, visit My Business.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    Data usage
    .
  3. Do any of the following:
    • Turn Data saver On / Off
      1. Tap
        Data saver
        .
      2. Tap the
        Use data saver switch
         to turn on or off.
        Data saver must be turned off to use the Mobile Hotspot.
    • Set Mobile Data Limit
      1. Tap
        Data warning & limit
        .
      2. Tap
        Set data limit
         to turn on.
      3. Review the prompt, then tap
        OK
        .
      4. Tap
        Data limit
        .
      5. Enter the preferred data limit (e.g., 2.0GB) then tap
        Set
        .
    • Set Mobile Data Warning
      1. Tap
        Data warning & limit
        .
      2. Tap
        Alert me
         to turn on.
      3. Review the prompt, then tap
        OK
        .
      4. Tap
        Data warning
        .
      5. Enter the preferred data amount (e.g., 2.0 GB) then tap
        Set
        .
    • Change Data Usage Cycle
      1. Tap
        Data warning & limit
        .
      2. Tap
        Cellular data usage cycle
        .
      3. From the Usage cycle reset date prompt, select the cycle date then tap
        Set
        .
