Wireless Network Security Settings

Adjusting security settings on your your Orbic® SPEED X 5G if you need a stronger password, a different security type or to hide your network name (SSID).

Steps

  2. From the Wi-Fi section, click the
    Arrow icon
    .
  3. From the Primary Network or Guest Network tab, configure the following settings (if available) as desired:
    • Network Name (SSID)
    • Security (e.g., Open, WPA2-PSK, etc.)
    • Password
  4. Click
    Generate New Password
     to auto-create a new password that uses a mix of numbers and letters.
  5. Click any of the following:
    • Hide primary network name (SSID) on the touchscreen
    • Hide password on the touchscreen
    • Broadcast primary network name (SSID)
    • Wi-Fi privacy separation
  6. Click
    Save Changes
