Turning data on your TCL 50 XE 5G provides access to online services over the cellular network, while turning it off will impact that experience unless connected to Wi-Fi.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Then do any of the following:
    • To turn data on / off:
      1. Tap
        Connections
         then tap
        Data usage
        .
      2. Tap the
        Mobile data switch
         to turn on or off.
      3. Tap
        OK
         to confirm.
    • To allow / deny roaming:
      Depending on your plan, enabling data roaming may cause roaming charges (e.g., when traveling internationally).
      1. Tap
        Network & internet
        .
      2. Tap the appropriate cellular network (e.g., SIM 1, Verizon 2, etc.).
      3. Tap the
        Data Roaming Access switch
         to turn on or off.
      4. Tap
        OK
         if you agree.
