Setting data limits or warnings on your TCL 50 XE 5G helps you stay aware of your usage habits, which can be useful if your plan provides a fixed amount of data.

Before you begin

Device data usage may differ from actual usage. For accurate info and bill cycle dates, visit the My Verizon website. For business customer data, visit My Business.
To control data usage on your account, refer to Verizon Family.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    Data usage
    .
  3. Tap
    Data warning & limit
     then do any of the following:
    • To change data usage cycle:
      1. Tap
        Cellular data usage cycle
        .
      2. Set the date to match the first day of your billing cycle then tap
        Set
        .
    • To set mobile data limit:
      1. Tap
        Set data limit
         to turn on.
      2. Review the prompt, then tap
        OK
        .
      3. Tap
        Data limit
        .
      4. Tap
        Data warning
        , enter the desired level (e.g., 2.0 GB) then tap
        Set
        .
    • To set mobile data warning:
      1. Tap
        Alert me
         to turn on.
      2. Review the prompt, then tap
        OK
        .
      3. Tap
        Data warning
        .
      4. Tap
        Data warning
        , enter the desired level (e.g., 2.0 GB) then tap
        Set
