 Add / Remove Face Recognition

Use facial recognition on your DuraForce PRO 3 to secure your device and personal info. If you decide to switch methods, you can delete your face data anytime.

Before you begin

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Security & privacy
    Device unlock
    Face & Fingerprint Unlock
    .
  3. Enter the current PIN, password, or pattern.
  4. Tap
    Face Unlock
    .
  5. Perform one of the following:
    • For first-time setup:
      1. Review the info, then tap
        I agree
        .
      2. From the How to screen, then tap
        Start
        .
      3. While holding the phone 8-20 inches away, position your face within the circle displayed onscreen.
      4. From the All set prompt, tap
        Done
        .
    • To remove face data:
      1. From the Face Unlock menu, tap
        Delete face data
        .
      2. To confirm, review the disclaimer, then tap
        Delete
        .
