Enable / Disable / Modify Screen Lock

A screen lock secures your DuraForce PRO 3 and keeps it private. Setting it up or adjusting the options helps you find the right balance between security and accessibility.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Security & privacy
    Device unlock
    Screen lock
    .
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Set up Pattern
      1. Tap
        Pattern
        .
      2. Draw an unlock pattern that connects at least 4 dots then tap
        Next
        .
      3. Draw the same pattern again then tap
        Confirm
        .
      4. If presented, select a notification option then tap
        Done
        .
    • Set up PIN
      1. Tap
        PIN
        .
      2. Enter a numeric PIN between 4 to 16 digits then tap
        Next
        .
      3. Re-enter the numeric PIN then tap
        Confirm
        .
      4. If presented, select a notification option then tap
        Done
        .
    • Set up Password
      1. Tap
        Password
        .
      2. Enter a password between 4 to 16 characters then tap
        Next
        .
      3. Re-enter the password then tap
        Confirm
        .
      4. If presented, select a notification option then tap
        Done
        .
    • Disable Screen Lock
      1. Tap
        None
         or
        Swipe
        .
      2. To confirm, tap
        Delete
        .
