Add / Remove Fingerprint Recognition

Set up fingerprint recognition on your DuraForce PRO 3 for fast, secure access. Remove saved fingerprints when troubleshooting or changing devices.

Before you begin

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
  2. Navigate:
    Security & privacy
    Device unlock
    Face & Fingerprint Unlock
    .
  3. Enter the current PIN, password, or pattern.
  4. Tap
    Fingerprint
    .
  5. Perform one of the following:
    • For first time setup
      1. Review the How it works info then tap
        I agree
        .
      2. Place your finger on the
        Power button sensor
         until it vibrates then lift.
      3. Using on-screen prompts as a guide, lightly tap the fingerprint sensor multiple times to scan your fingerprint and repeat until process completes.
      4. Tap
        Done
        .
    • To add more fingerprints
      1. Tap
        Add fingerprint
        .
      2. Place your finger on the
        Power button sensor
         until it vibrates then lift.
      3. Using on-screen prompts as a guide, lightly tap the fingerprint sensor multiple times to scan your fingerprint and repeat until process completes.
      4. Tap 'Done' if finished or 'Add fingerprint' to continue adding fingerprints.
    • To remove fingerprint(s)
      1. Tap the
        Trashcan icon
         to the right of the fingerprint you want to remove.
      2. Tap
        Delete
