Restart in Safe Mode

Restarting your DuraForce PRO 3 in Safe mode puts it into a diagnostic state that only runs system apps so you can determine if a third-party app is causing freezing or slowness.

Before you begin

An alternate method is available if the device is unresponsive or won't power on.

Steps

  1. Press the
    Power button
     and
    Volume up button
     simultaneously until the options menu appears then release.
  2. Touch and hold
    Power off
     until the 'Restart in safe mode' prompt appears then release.
  3. From the Restart in safe mode prompt, tap
    OK
     to confirm.
  4. Upon restart, Safe mode appears in the lower-left of the unlock / Home screen.
