Enable / Disable / Modify SIM PIN

Enabling a SIM PIN extra security to your DuraForce PRO 3, helping to prevent unauthorized use and protect your personal info if your device is misplaced or stolen.

Before you begin

If using a physical SIM, ensure a SIM card is properly inserted.
Enabling the SIM PIN locks the SIM card, so it can't be used until the correct code is entered.
If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to the following to get a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK):

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Security & privacy
    More security & privacy
    .
  3. Tap
    SIM lock
    .
  4. Tap the
    Lock SIM switch
     to turn on or off.
  5. Enter the current SIM PIN then tap
    OK
    .
    The default SIM PIN is 1111.
  6. To change your SIM PIN, ensure the switch is turned on then do the following:
    1. Tap
      Change SIM PIN
      .
    2. Enter the current SIM PIN then tap
      OK
      .
    3. Enter a new SIM PIN then tap
      OK
      .
    4. Re-enter the new SIM PIN then tap
      OK
