Activate your moto g stylus 5G to get started. This ensures you can make calls, send messages, and connect to the internet.

Before you begin

If you have a physical SIM card, ensure your 5G SIM card is inserted.

Steps

  1. Press and hold the
    Power button
     until the device begins to power on. Select your language then tap
    START
    .
  2. Confirm the correct phone number displays then tap
    Next
    .
  3. Connect to a Wi-Fi network.
  4. Turn privacy and security features on or off then tap
    Accept & continue
    .
  5. To copy apps and data, tap
    Next
     to transfer your content now or tap
    Don't copy
    .
  6. Sign in with your Google™ Account or create a new one.
  7. Select a user type.
  8. Follow the onscreen prompts to review and accept the Google Services options (e.g., Google Drive, Location, etc.).
  9. Set up a screen lock and face recognition or fingerprint to secure your device.
  10. Configure any of the other services (email, font size, wallpaper, etc.) or tap

  11. To configure voice services with the Google Assistant, tap
    I agree
    .
  12. To allow Verizon Services to collect Location and App info, tap
    Accept
    .
  13. Tap
    Next
     or
    Accept
     to add additional storage with Verizon Cloud or secure your device with Verizon Protect.
  14. Set your Motorola service preferences then tap
    Next

  15. Tap
    Got it
     to complete the activation.
