Stream TV Soundbar - Set Up Remote Control App

Here's how to set up the Google TV app to use your phone or tablet as a remote control for your Stream TV Soundbar.
  • Ensure the Google™ TV app is up to date on your device as the following steps apply to the most recent version.

  1. Make sure your soundbar is connected to the same internet network as your device.
  2. Open the Google TV app on your device.
  3. If prompted, review the 'Terms of Service' and 'Privacy Policy' then tap
    ACCEPT & CONTINUE
    .
  4. If prompted, tap 'Allow all the time' or 'Allow only while using the app' to grant location permissions.
  5. Tap the
    Remote icon
     (lower-right).
    If the Remote icon does not appear:
    1. Tap the
      Account icon
       Account icon (upper-right).
      Icon varies by account.
    2. Tap
      Google TV settings
      .
    3. If necessary, tap 'Display floating remote button' to enable.
      Enabled when a checkmark is present.
  6. Tap
    Select a device
     (at the top) then tap
    Stream TV Soundbar
    .
  7. Enter the code displayed on your TV into the designated field on your device then tap
    Pair
    .
