Orbic Tab8 5G - Restart in Safe Mode

Restarting your Orbic Tab8 5G in Safe Mode puts it into a diagnostic state that only runs system apps so you can determine if a third-party app is causing freezing or slowness.

With the Orbic® Tab8 5G™ powered on, press and hold the

Power button

until the 'Power off' prompt appears on the screen then release.

Touch and hold

Restart

until the 'Reboot to safe mode' prompt appears then release.

Tap

to confirm.

The restart process may take up to 45 seconds to complete.

Upon restart, 'Safe mode' appears in the lower-left of the unlock / Home screen.

With Safe Mode enabled, ensure Airplane Mode is turned off then test device and app functionality.

To exit 'Safe mode', restart your device.
