Before you begin

Ensure your device is connected to a power source during the app update.
Using the Mobile Broadband connection to download an update impacts your data usage allowance and may result in additional charges. It's recommended to use a Wi-Fi connection, if available.

Install Updates

  1. Open the
    Start menu
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Microsoft Store
    Library
    Get updates
    .
  3. If updates are available, select
    Update all
    .

Turn Automatic App Updates On / Off

  1. Open the
    Start menu
    .
  2. Select
    Microsoft Store
    .
  3. Select the
    Account icon
     then choose
    App settings
    .
  4. Select the
    App updates switch
     to turn on or off.
    Apps automatically update when connected to Wi-Fi.
