Here's how to change the data usage cycle on your Fossil Gen 5 LTE Smartwatch, view data usage and set data limits.
  • Ensure the software is up to date on your Fossil Gen 5 LTE Smartwatch as the steps below apply to the most recent version.
  • Device data usage may differ from actual usage. For accurate info and bill cycle dates, visit My Verizon website.
    For Business Customer data, visit My Business.
  • To control data usage on your account, refer to Verizon Family™.
  1. From the watch screen, press the
    Power / Home button
     to open the apps screen.

  2. Open the
    Settings app
     Settings icon.
  3. Navigate:
    Connectivity
    Mobile
    .
  4. Tap
    Data usage
    .
  5. Do any of the following:
    • Set Mobile Data Limit:
      Mobile data is turned off when the data usage reaches the limit indicated by the red line. To use apps needing data, use Wi-Fi or adjust the limit.
      1. Tap
        Set data limit
         to turn on Vibrate on.
        If prompted, review the notification then tap the
        Checkmark icon
         to confirm.
      2. Tap
        Data limit
        then select the desired level (e.g., 2.0 GB, etc.).
    • Change Data Usage Cycle:
      1. Tap the
        Data usage cycle
        (e.g., Jun 29 - Jul 28).
        Refer to your statement for the bill cycle date.
      2. Select the appropriate date.
    • Set Mobile Data Warning:
      1. Tap
        Warning level
        .
      2. Select the Data warning level (e.g., 50.00 MB, 10.00 GB, etc.).
    • View Data Usage:
      1. Tap
        App usage
        .
      2. View usage by App.
