Orbic Maui - Power Up in Safe Mode

Safe mode is a diagnostic state on your Orbic Maui that only runs system apps so you can isolate if a third-party app is causing freezing or slowness.

Ensure your Orbic® Maui™ is powered off.

An alternate method is available if your device can be powered on and is responsive.

Press the

Power button

to turn the device on and allow several seconds for the Orbic logo to appear.

With the Orbic logo on screen, press and hold the

Volume down and Volume up button

simultaneously

Continue to hold the

Volume down and Volume up buttons

until 'Safe mode' appears in the lower-left of the unlock screen then release.

This may take up to 30 seconds.

With Safe Mode enabled, ensure Airplane Mode is turned off then test device and app functionality.
