Verizon Jetpack® MiFi® 8800L - Change the Admin Password

Here's how to change the password used to access the Admin page for your MiFi 8800L.
This info doesn't apply to changing the password used to connect to your Verizon Jetpack via Wi-Fi. The Admin password is used to log in to the device web interface to manage settings (e.g. network name, network password, etc.).
  1. Access the Admin Web Interface (http://my.jetpack).
  2. Click
    Sign In
     (located in the upper-right) to view the Administrator dropdown menu then click
    Admin Settings
    .
    If using a tablet or mobile device: tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon (upper-left), then tap
    Sign In
    .
  3. If prompted, enter the current Admin password then click
    Sign In
    .
    If you don't know the current password, click
    I Forgot the Admin Password
    .
  4. From the 'Change Jetpack Admin Password' screen, enter the current password then click
    Continue
    .
  5. Enter the appropriate info for the following fields:
    • Current Admin password
    • New Admin password
      Must be at least 6 characters.
    • Confirm new Admin password
    • Select security question
    • Answer security question
  6. Click
    Save Changes
    .
  7. Click
    OK
    .
