Samsung Galaxy J3 V / Galaxy J3 (3rd Gen.) - Link / Unlink Contacts

Your Galaxy J3 V / Galaxy J3 lets you organize your contacts based on your preference by merging the details of multiple entries or separating them.
The Contacts app uses an intelligent merge feature to combine contact info from various sources (e.g., Gmail™, Microsoft® Exchange, new entries, etc.). If contact info was joined in error, the info can be separated back into individual contacts.
  1. Open the
    Contacts app
    .
  2. Tap a contact.
  3. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon.
  4. Tap
    Add / remove linked contacts
    .
    The options vary depending on the type of linked contacts.
  5. Do one of the following:
    • To link a contact:
      1. Tap
        Link another contact
        .
      2. Select the desired contact(s) then tap
        Link
        .
    • To unlink a contact:
      1. Tap
        Unlink
