Locate a Family Member

Keep your family connected and secure. Find out how simple it is to locate family members right from your device with the Verizon Family app.

Before you begin

Ensure the parent and child devices are paired and location sharing is on.
Ensure GPS is enabled on the device to be locate. If necessary, refer to the device's user manual for instructions.

Steps

  2. Tap the
    Home tab
    .Update
    Device location begins automatically then displays on the map with family members clustered in their general locations.
  3. To see the specific location of a particular family member, select them in the menu below.
    This step only applies when using the parent app. If using the companion app, skip to the next step.
  4. View the current location.
    If available, tap the
    Refresh icon
     in the lower-right to update.
  5. If available, view location history below the map.
    Tap an individual result to view more details.
