Turn Location Sharing On / Off

Keep your family's location secure. Quickly manage privacy settings by turning location sharing on or off for specific profiles right from the Verizon Family app.

Before you begin

Ensure you have a Premium subscription and that the Verizon Family app is installed on the Guardian's device.
Sign in to the app using a My Verizon user ID or mobile number that has Account Owner or Manager access privileges.

Steps

  5. Tap
    Location Sharing

  6. Select the desired option then tap
    Save
    :
    • Guardian's only
      : Only lines designated as Guardians can view this family member's location.
    • All Family Members
      : Everyone can view this family member's location.
    • Not Shared
      : No one can view this family member's location.
