Change Voicemail Greeting

Recording a custom Voicemail greeting for your Apple® iPhone® lets you share exactly what you want callers to hear when you're unavailable.

Before you begin

If you don't have the Greeting option, ensure your voicemail has been set up.

If your voicemail has been set up and you are unable to change your greeting through the 'Voicemail' tab, dial *86 then choose option 4 to change.

Open the

Phone app

Tap the

3-line Menu

then tap

Voicemail

Tap

Edit

Tap

Edit Voicemail Greeting

If using an eSIM with a second line, select a line (e.g., Primary, Secondary, 888-888-8888, etc.).

Tap

Custom

to record a greeting.

Tap

Record

to begin recording the custom greeting message.

To listen to your recording before saving, tap

Stop

then tap the

Play icon

then tap the

Checkmark icon
