Open the

Phone app

Tap

Voicemail

then tap

Set Up Now

If switching to an iPhone, you could be directed to the automated Voicemail system. If so, follow the voice prompts. If unsuccessful, you can dial

to manually set up.

Enter a password then tap the

Checkmark icon

Re-enter the password then tap the

Checkmark icon

Tap

Custom

to record a greeting.

Tap

Default

to use the Verizon greeting.

Tap

Record

to record your greeting then tap

Stop

Tap

Done

Save

to complete setup.
