Verizon Family Add Time Restrictions
Verizon Family
Add Time RestrictionsEasily control when your child can use their device. Add scheduled time restrictions in the Verizon Family app to pause usage during specific hours of the day.
Before you begin
During time restrictions:
- the child's device can't call, text or use cellular data; however, 911 is always allowed.
- trusted contacts can always call and text.
- Wi-Fi can still be used.
- certain data services and apps (e.g., Data Usage Meter) are allowed.
Ensure the Verizon Family app is installed on the parent device.
Sign in to the app using a My Verizon user ID or mobile number that has Account Owner or Manager access privileges.
Ensure the child device is powered off prior to adding or removing restrictions.
