Installing apps on your Apple® iPad® allows you to personalize your device with tools, games and other features that suit your interests.

Before you begin

To install apps, you must sign in with your Apple ID or create one.

Steps

  1. Open the
    App Store
    .
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To browse the App Store®:
      1. Tap
        Apps
        .
      2. Scroll then tap the desired category.
    • To search for apps by name, tap the
      Search icon
       then enter the name of the app.
  3. Tap the app.
  4. Tap
    Get
     then tap
    Install
    .
  5. If there's a charge for the app, tap
    Purchase
    .
