Configure Personal Hotspot Settings

Adjusting hotspot settings allows you to control how devices connect when using your Apple® iPad® as a portable Wi-Fi network.

Before you begin

Open the

Settings app

Tap

Personal Hotspot

Tap the

Allow Others to Join switch

to turn on.

Tap the

Maximize Compatibility switch

to turn on or off.

To change the Wi-Fi password, tap the

Wi-Fi Password

field, edit the info then tap the

Checkmark icon
