Unused apps take up storage space and slow down your Pixel 11 / 11 Pro / 11 Pro XL. Uninstalling apps you don't need can improve performance and reduce clutter.

Before you begin

Apps included with the Android™ operating system may not have an uninstall option. Some of those apps can be disabled; however, doing so may cause related apps to malfunction.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Apps
    See all apps
    .
  3. Locate then select an app.
  4. Tap
    Uninstall
    , review the notification then tap
    OK
    .
