Manage Hotspot Settings

Turn on the hotspot feature for your Galaxy S26 FE to share mobile data with other devices. Set up the network name, password and security type to enhance security.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  3. Tap any of the following to configure:
    • Network name
    • Password
      1. Tap the
        Password field
         to remove the existing password.
      2. Enter the preferred password then tap
        Save
        .
    • Band (e.g., 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, 6 GHz)
      Devices that don't support the selected band are unable to find or connect to your hotspot.
    • Security (e.g., Open, WPA2-Personal, etc.)
  4. To adjust Timeout settings, tap any option then tap
    Advanced
    .
  5. Tap
    Turn off when no device connected for
     then select the preferred option (e.g., Never timeout, 5 minutes, etc.)
  6. Tap
    Save
    .
