Adjust Brightness / Display Settings

By adjusting screen settings (e.g., Screen saver, Screen timeout, Display size and text, etc.) on your Pixel 11 / 11 Pro / 11 Pro XL, you can reduce eye strain, improve visibility and extend battery life.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Display & touch
    .
  3. Do any of the following:
    • To adjust brightness:
      1. Tap
        Brightness level
         then adjust the slider as desired.
      2. Tap the
        Adaptive brightness switch
         to turn on or off.
    • To adjust the screen timeout:
      1. Tap
        Screen timeout
         then select an option (e.g., 30 seconds, 2 minutes, etc.).
      2. Tap the
        Back arrow
         to return to the Display settings screen.
    • To adjust display / font size:
      1. Tap
        Display size and text
         then adjust the slider as desired for the Font size and Display size.
      2. Tap the
        Bold text switch
         and the
        Outline text switch
         to turn on or off.
      3. Tap the
        Back arrow
         to return to the Display settings screen.
    • To adjust the screen saver:
      1. Tap
        Screen saver
        .
      2. Tap the
        Use screen saver switch
         to turn on or off then select an option (e.g., Colors, Photos, etc.).
