Manage Battery Saving Settings

Power Saving mode helps extend battery life on your Galaxy S26 FE by reducing performance and limiting vibration, location services and most background data.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Battery
    Power saving
    .
  3. Tap the
    Power saving switch
     to turn on or off.
  4. With the 'Power saving' switch turned on, do one of the following:
    • To use standard mode:
      1. Tap
        Standard
        .
      2. Tap the
        Gear icon
         to the right of Standard to configure.
      3. Tap the switches to turn any of the following on or off:
        • Limit CPU speed to 70%
        • Turn off Always On Display
        • Decrease brightness by 10%
        • Set Motion smoothness to Standard
        • Turn on Dark mode
        • Set Screen timeout to 30 seconds
    • To use Maximum mode:
      1. Tap
        Maximum
        .
      2. Tap the
        Gear icon
         to the right of Maximum to configure.
      3. Tap the app(s) to turn on and exclude from power saving mode.
  5. Tap the
    Back Arrow
     to return to the Power saving screen.
  6. Tap
    3-dot Menu
     then tap
    Adaptive power saving
    .
  7. Tap the
    Adaptive power saving switch
     to turn on or off.
