Steps

  1. Press and hold the
    Power button
     and
    Back button
     until the Power off icon appears (approximately 3 seconds) then release.
  2. Tap the
    Power off icon
    .
    If the device is unresponsive, press and hold the
    Power button
     and
    Back button
     until the Samsung Galaxy screen appears (approximately 10 seconds) then release.
  3. Once the device is off, press and hold the
    Power button
     until Samsung appears onscreen, then release.
