Certain pre-installed apps on your motorola edge - 2026 can't be removed. Disabling them can free up space and declutter your device, while enabling them returns functionality.

Before you begin

Disabling an app may cause related apps to malfunction.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Apps
    See all apps
    .
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To disable apps:
      1. Tap the applicable app.
      2. Tap
        Disable
         then tap
        Disable app
         to confirm.
        If the Disable option isn't available, tap
        Force stop
         then tap
        OK
        .
    • To enable apps:
      1. Tap the
        Dropdown menu
         then tap
        All apps
        .
      2. Tap the applicable app.
      3. Tap
        Enable
        .
