Adding a Google™ (Gmail™) account to your motorola edge - 2026 lets you access email, apps and services, as well as sync your data across multiple devices.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Passwords, passkeys & accounts
    Add account
    Google
    .
  3. Enter the Gmail address then tap
    Next
    .
  4. Enter the applicable password then tap
    Next
    .
  5. To continue, review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy then tap
    I agree
    .
  6. From the Google services screen, tap the
    Use basic device backup switch
     to turn on or off then tap
    Accept
    .
