Uninstall Apps

Unused apps take up storage space and slow down your TCL K70. Uninstalling apps you don't need can improve performance and reduce clutter.

Before you begin

Apps included with the Android™ operating system may not have an uninstall option. Some apps that can't be uninstalled can be disabled; however, disabling apps may cause related apps to malfunction.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Apps
    .
  3. Tap
    View all apps
    .
  4. Tap an app then do one of the following:
    • To uninstall the app:
      1. Tap
        Uninstall
        .
      2. To confirm, review the notification then tap
        OK
        .
    • To uninstall app updates:
      1. Tap the
        3-dot Menu
        .
      2. Tap
        Uninstall updates
        .
      3. To confirm, review the notification then tap
        OK
