Manage Hotspot Settings

Turn on the hotspot feature for your TCL K70 to share mobile data with other devices. Set up the network name, password, and security type to enhance security.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    Tethering & Mobile Hotspot
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  3. Tap
    Set up Mobile Hotspot
    .
  4. Tap any of the following to configure:
    • Network name
    • Hide my device
    • Security (e.g., None, WPA2-Personal, etc.)
    • Password
      1. Tap the Password field then remove the existing password.
      2. Enter the new password.
    • Maximum connections (1 user, 7 users, etc.)
    • Select AP Band (2.4 GHz Band or 5 GHz Band)
  5. Tap
    Save
    .
  6. Tap
    Timeout settings
     then select an option (e.g., Never, 40 minutes, etc.).
