Format SD / Memory Card

Formatting an SD card erases all files and readies it for use with your TCL K70. This helps with troubleshooting or starting fresh with clean storage.

Before you begin

Ensure an SD / memory card is inserted into your TCL K70 and it isn't connected to a computer via the USB cable.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Storage
     then select
    SD Card
    .
  3. Tap the
    3-dot Menu
     then select
    Format
    .
  4. Tap
    Format
     again then allow several seconds for the process to complete.
  5. Tap
    Done
    .
