Manage Hotspot Settings

Turn on the hotspot feature for your Pixel 10a to share mobile data with other devices. Set up the network name, password and security type to enhance security.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Network & internet
    Hotspot & tethering
    Wi-Fi hotspot
    .
  3. From the Wi-Fi hotspot screen, set up the following:
    • Hotspot name
    • Security (e.g., None, WPA2-Personal, etc.)
    • Hotspot password
      1. Tap the
        Password field
         to remove the existing password.
      2. Enter the password then tap
        OK
        .
    • Instant hotspot
    • Speed & compatibility (e.g., 2.4 and 5GHz, 6GHz, etc.).
  4. Tap any of the following to turn on or off:
    • Use Wi-Fi hotspot
    • Turn off hotspot automatically
