Customize Your Home ScreenPersonalizing the Home screen on your Pixel 10a makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove, or arrange apps, use widgets or set a wallpaper that matches your style.
Add Apps
- Touch and hold an app.
- Drag-and-drop the shortcut onto the preferred Home screen location.
Add Widgets
- From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
- TapWidgets.
- Select a category then touch and hold a widget.
- Drag-and-drop the widget onto the preferred Home screen location.
- If applicable, tap more options to activate the widget.
Add / Remove Folders
- Do one of the following:
- To add a folder:
- From a Home screen, touch and hold an app (e.g., My Verizon).
- Drag-and-drop the app onto another app (e.g., Gmail).
- An unnamed folder containing the shortcuts is created; to rename the folder:
- Tap the folder.
- Tap theTitle barat the bottom of the open folder.
- Enter a name then tap theCheckmark icon.
- To remove a folder:
- Drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.
Remove Apps / Widgets
- From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widget, app, etc.).
- Drag-and-drop the item onto Remove at the top of the screen.
Set Wallpaper
- Touch and hold a blank space on a Home screen.
- TapWallpaper & style.
- TapMore wallpapersthen select the desired wallpaper category from the available folders (e.g., My photos, Landscapes, etc.).
- Select an image.
- Select from the following tabs on the Preview screen to review:
- Home screen
- Lock screen
- TapSet Wallpaperthen select from the following options:
- Home screen
- Lock screen
- To confirm, tapSet.
