Configure S Pen Settings

The S Pen™ offers useful features (e.g., Air Command, Quick Notes, etc.), which you can customize to make navigating your Galaxy S26 Ultra and taking notes more convenient.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Advanced features
    S Pen
    .
  3. Tap
    Air command
     to access advanced configuration options (e.g., Standard style with 3 shortcuts).
  4. Tap the
    Back arrow icon
     to return to the main S Pen settings screen.
  5. From the main section, tap any of the following to turn on or off then configure as needed: following:
    • Air view
      : Changes the pointer type.
    • S Pen to text
      : Write in search fields, address bars and other text areas.
    • Screen off memos
      : Write notes while the screen is off.
    • When the S Pen is removed
      : Choose an option on what to do if the S Pen is removed (e.g., Do nothing).
    • Quick notes
      : Press and hold the Pen button then tap the screen twice with your S Pen to create a new note.
  6. Tap
    More S Pen settings
     to access the following options:
    • Allow multiple S Pens
    • Warn if S Pen is left behind
    • Sounds
    • Vibrations
