 Manage Battery Saving Settings

Power Saving mode helps extend battery life on your Galaxy S26 / S26+ / S26 Ultra by reducing performance and limiting vibration, location services and most background data.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Battery
    Power saving
    .
  3. Tap the
    Power saving mode switch
     to turn on or off.
  4. When turned on, tap
    Standard
     or
    Maximum
    .
  5. Tap the
    Gear icon
     next to the applicable setting to adjust any of the following switches to turn on or off:
    • Limit CPU speed to 70%
    • Turn off Always On Display
    • Decrease brightness by 10%
    • Set Motion smoothness to Standard
    • Turn on Dark mode
    • Set Screen timeout to 30 seconds
    • Limit apps and Home screen
    • Put unused apps to sleep switch
  6. Tap the
    Back arrow
     to return to the previous screen.
  7. Tap
    3-dot Menu
     then tap
    Adaptive power saving
    .
  8. Tap the
    Adaptive power saving switch
     to turn on or off.
  9. Tap the
    Back arrow
     to return to the previous screen.
