Set Up Wi-Fi

Connect your One Talk T42U IP desk phone to a visible or hidden Wi-Fi network. This can help with troubleshooting or make it easier to connect to networks you use.

Before you begin

In order to connect to a Wi-Fi network, a compatible USB Wi-Fi adapter must be inserted (WF40 or WF50, sold separately).

Steps

From the idle screen, navigate:

Settings

Basic

Wi-Fi

Press the

Switch soft key

or the

left and right arrow keys

to turn Wi-Fi on then press

Save

The phone automatically searches for available networks.

If no networks appear, press

Scan

Press the

down arrow

to see available networks.

Using the

up and down arrow keys

, select the preferred network then press

Connect

If prompted, use the keypad to enter the Wi-Fi password then press
