Set Up Speed Dial

Setting up speed dial entries on your One Talk T42U IP desk phone allows you to call important phone numbers quickly and easily.

Before you begin

If desired, a speed dial number can utilize pause dialing. This is useful for navigating interactive menus automatically.

Steps

From the idle screen, long press the desired line key.

Use the

left and right arrow keys

or the

Switch soft key

to select

Speed Dial

Using the

up and down arrow keys

to navigate, enter the appropriate information:

Pause dialing: While entering the speed dial phone number, enter a comma (,) to insert a short delay time before dialing the next number in the string. Extend the delay by entering more commas.

Example: Entering a speed dial value of 9875551212,,,,,1234# will cause the desk phone to dial 9875551212, a moderate wait, then dial 1234#.
