Set Up Speed Dial

Setting up speed dial entries on your One Talk T74LTE smart desk phone allows you to call important phone numbers quickly and easily.

Before you begin

If desired, a speed dial number can utilize pause dialing. This is useful for navigating interactive menus automatically.

Steps

  1. From the idle screen, press an empty line key or long press an existing line key then select
    Edit
    .
  2. Use the
    left and right arrow keys
     or the
    Switch soft key
     to select
    Speed Dial
    .
  3. Using the
    up and down arrow keys
     to navigate, enter the appropriate information:
    • Label
    • Value (target extension)
      Pause dialing: While entering the speed dial phone number, enter a comma (,) to insert a short delay time before dialing the next number in the string. Extend the delay by entering more commas.
      Example: Entering a speed dial value of 9875551212,,,,,1234# will cause the desk phone to dial 9875551212, a moderate wait, then dial 1234#.
  4. Press
    Save
