One Talk T74LTE Smart Desk Phone
Check Internet Connectivity

Your One Talk T74LTE smart desk phone requires an internet connection to function. Follow these steps to confirm your phone is connected and ready for use.

Before you begin

The following is provided for informational purposes only. Contact your IT admin to verify the following info.
Verifying the IP address on the desk phone ensures the phone is communicating with the router; this doesn't necessarily mean the phone has access to the internet. See One Talk Ports and Protocols for correct internet settings on the router and desk phone.
If the desk phone doesn't display an IP address, contact your IT admin to ensure the desk phone is allowed to communicate over the business network.

Steps

  1. Check for proper installation:
    1. Ensure the phone is properly plugged into a functional AC outlet.
    2. If configured in LAN mode:
      1. Ensure the Ethernet cable is plugged into the Ethernet port on the back of the phone or you're connected to a Wi-Fi network.
      2. If not receiving an IP address from the router, try using a different Ethernet port.
      3. Ensure the switch or hub in your network is operational.
  2. From the idle screen, navigate:
    Menu
    Advanced
    .
  3. Using the keypad, enter the admin password.
    Default password: @N3ta!k2@2*
  4. Select

  5. Use the menus to view various pieces of network info.
Confirm expected values with your system admin.
