Enabling a SIM PIN provides extra security to your LINKZONE GO 5G, helping to prevent unauthorized use and protect your personal info if your device is misplaced or stolen.

Before you begin

Enabling the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Personal Identification Number (PIN) locks the SIM card so it can't be used until the correct code is entered. If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to My Verizon Website - Locate the SIM PIN / PUK to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).

Steps

  2. From the Network Settings section, click the
    Navigation arrow
    .
  3. From the left pane, click
    Mobile Network
     then click
    SIIM PIN Management
    .
  4. Do any of the following:
    • To enable the SIM PIN:
      1. Click the
        SIM PIN Status switch
         to turn on.
      2. Review the warning message then click
        Continue
        .
      3. In the SIM PIN field, enter the current PIN.
        The default PIN is 1111.
      4. If preferred, select
        Remember SIM/PIN
        .
      5. Click
        Apply
        .
    • To disable the SIM PIN:
      1. Click the
        SIM PIN Status switch
         to turn on.
      2. Review the warning message then click
        Continue
        .
      3. Click
        Apply
        .
    • To modify the SIM PIN:
      1. Ensure the SIM PIN Status switch is turned on.
      2. Click
        Change PIN
        .
      3. Enter the following then click
        Apply
        :
        • Old SIM PIN
        • New SIM PIN
        • Confirm SIM PIN
