Move Files from Internal Storage to SD / Memory Card

Moving files to an SD card frees up storage space and helps your TAB 8 NXTPAPER 5G run more efficiently.

Before you begin

Ensure an SD / memory card is inserted in your tablet.

Steps

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings
    Storage
    .
  3. Tap
    Internal storage
    .
  4. Tap
    Files
    .
  5. Select a category (e.g., Images, Audio, etc.).
  6. If applicable, select the directory / folder that contains the file(s).
  7. Touch and hold the desired file or folder to select it.
  8. Tap the
    3-dot Menu icon
     in the upper right.
  9. Tap
    Move to
    .
  10. Tap the
    3-line Menu icon
     in the upper left.
  11. Tap
    SD / Memory Card
    .
  12. If necessary, navigate to the directory you want to move the files to.
  13. Tap
    MOVE
     in the lower left.
